Cosmic Llama

Cosmic Llama

This piece is part of the series "Animals Are Magic"

This constellation is also known as Lyra. But the Incas call this arrangement of stars The Llama. This constellation is important because Llamas provided the Inca with wool, food, and a way to transport goods. After their deaths, llamas provided hide for leathers and meat for food. Llama figurines were often buried with the Inca dead, perhaps as offerings to the gods to ensure the fertility of the Inca herds.

This is a giclée print of my original watercolor and ink painting. Each print comes hand signed and titled. Prints are packaged with a rigid backing board in a plastic sleeve and are ready to pop in a standard sized frame.

This print is available in three sizes: 5x7", 8x10", and 11x14" and as stationery.
